Believe It and Receive It

January 15, 2021
Mark 11:24 says "Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

I don't believe that God would ask us to believe a lie. I believe we receive His promises in the spirit. Those promises may not manifest in the natural right away.

What is the proof then? For healing? You may not look healed. You may not feel healed. What is the evidence? Our faith is our evidence (Hebrews 11:1). Evidence of what? That we have received our healing already.

Did God ask me to believe a lie? No, He asked me to believe that I've received it, so I've received it.

Faith is believing, so I know that I know that I have it. God promised it to me. It's mine. I take it NOW. The outward proof will come, just like the fig tree in Mark 11:12-23.

Faith is reliant obedience, so I live a lifestyle of surrender to my Lord, putting action to what He's told me to do. Naaman dipped in the Jordan River seven times. Why? Because the Lord said to do it. Gideon whittled down his army. Why? Because the Lord said to do it. Faith without action is dormant, useless, and unproductive (James 2:20).

This faith principle applies to our salvation, our baptism, our provision, our wholeness, our protection, our growth, our strength, our deliverance, or any other covenant promise.

Believe you have received and you will have. Simple truth.
