Just a quick not to say thank you. My wife and I are church planters and have found a great resource for the Kingdom of God through Grow Churches. I have been looking for a resource to help me get our Small Group ministry going and I found it this morning, also your ministry descriptions.
Thanks again and may the lord continue to bless you as you build His Kingdom.

Thank you soo much for sending me the info.I really needed that and it was the goodness of God that a daughter of Him connected with me. I have been crying out many times to know godly women since I mostly only see men in my country.
I liked so much what you wrote in the articles and it is very helpful ..(especially about guarding you heart but not stop being with people)

I've happened to accidentally come across one of your articles from the growchurches.com facebook site. I read one and then I had to read them all! I'd have to say that it wasn't by chance at all. But through 2 of them in particular 1. Stay true to your ministry and 2. Grow your ministry, I was so touched and it was such a timely bit of wisdom.
I've recently become a little bit discouraged and at our last meeting some other leaders expressed the same. We feel as though our ministry isn't growing. Your messages encouraged me! I shared it with the other leaders.

Melanie, even though I don't know you, your recent articles have spoken to me. The article on "Life-Giving Leaders" was my introduction to your writings. I was very impressed. The current article was amazing! It's like you had been reading my mail....The grief for the loss of church members and friends plus now a mistrust for pastors have been almost unbearable at times.Your article affirmed lots of the thoughts that I had in reference to the warning signs but I am trying to get past those so I am focusing on the restoration part(possible Christian counseling)of this article. Thanks for your words of wisdom, information and encouragement.

I read the download "signs of unhealthy leadership" it was so impacting. My husband and I came out of exactly what you listed every single point!! We left a church after serving for 7 years as leaders under that kind of leadership. We left but didn't have the "how to get healed or keys to move on" then. But we did have our Father who got us through it and healed our hearts. We still have things that pop up but our new Pastor is so amazing, loving and helps us through it.
I wanted to thank you for writing that and making it available to those that were hurt and those that will need this in the future.

Melanie, you are definitely gifted by God to be able to produce all that I see on your website. I really enjoyed your 8 part teaching on the authority of God. I am a retired managing director of Fedex and spent 3 years in their Leadership Institute. I taught leadership courses to managers, sr. managers, and managing directors so I am familiar with all styles of curriculums and yours are developed with excellence. Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you.

I just wanted to let you know how much your article on unhealthy leadership helped my life. I was the assistant Pastor of a church for 11 years, and my wife and I felt the Lord was leading us to step down and attend another church to prepare ourselves and family to move to Brazil to start a church in a few years. Your article was verbatim the type of leadership I was under. When I told my old Pastor what God spoke to us we were basically excommunicated from the church and nobody was allowed to fellowship with us anymore. Our family was demonized and it was a very tough time emotionally. The weight of that type of leadership off my shoulders was fantastic and I felt like I could finally breathe. The only problem that I've had, is dealing with it emotionally. It has been very tough on my mind to process. They were the type of place that said bad things would happen to you if you leave wrong. My mind sometimes wonders what if I made the wrong decision? How would that affect my destiny and the safety of my family and children? It has been a year and half since I left the church and we are plugged into a very healthy and vibrant church. I am going on my first mission trip to Brazil in two weeks so things are on the up and up. My Pastor has been super supportive and that has been wonderful. Your article really helped me work through some things and process what happened. I wish you the best and thanks for all you do.

I had a few thoughts while reading the Parenting Like God teacher's guide. I read through it very quickly last night and plan on reading it again many times I am sure. My first thought while reading was about how many parenting books are out there. The writers all have good intentions, and have some valuable information in their books, but the ultimate Father is God, so we should go to Him first and foremost for information on how to be the most productive parent we can be. His way will always produce the results we desire. We KNOW His Word will work in any situation and it is the correct thing to do.
Your teaching gave me God's Word on some issues that my husband and I had questions about. It also gave me some things that I CAN do. I can immediately implement the things you taught in the lives of my children. It was so simple. God's Word is simple and not hard.
So, I just wanted to say thank you and give you some feedback on what I received from this teaching.
